When life takes a sudden shift, don't become discouraged. God has a way marked out that you have not thought of taking. This holds true when relationships end without warning, finances hit an all-time low, and job offers do not materialize. He knows our needs and He promised to make a way for us through whatever wilderness we are traveling. Often we look for quick solutions. A problem or discomfort comes and we draw back from the emotional pain. No one likes to suffer, but God's greatest lessons can be learned in times of adversity and strife. Are you willing to learn how to love a person who has hurt you? Can you say to that person. "I forgive you?" Or if that is not a possibility can you tell God you are ready to learn how to forgive so you can continue without bitterness of heart? Trials prick us. Disappointment stuns us. And adversity can leave us feeling broken with pain. When life goes wrong, the greater test is how you will deal with its coming. God uses every ...

Here is a very touching story that i want to share, i reflect on this and realize how God loves us in spite of who we are and what we have done. --o-- Her mother worked for days making her new school dress. Finally, it was finished and ready to be worn. Giggling with excitement, she asked if she could wear it the next day. "Yes," was the answer, "but stay off the sliding board during playtime. You already have torn one dress. Let's keep this one nice." However, the next day's playtime proved too tempting. And despite her mother's instruction, she climbed to the top of the slide and began a fast descent. It was then she heard a loud, tearing noise. Later that evening, tears filled her mother's eyes as she studied the gaping hole in her daughter's dress. "Mom, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it." Her mother thought for a moment, smiled, and then said, "I forgive you. It will take some effort, but i believe it can be fixed....
